🧮 FinCalc

About FinCalc

FinCalc builds free, transparent financial calculators for mortgage, loan, interest, salary, and currency decisions. Every tool shows the exact formula it uses and a worked example, so you never have to take a number on faith.

Our Methodology

Each calculator is a thin wrapper over a standard financial formula — the amortization equation for loans, the compound-interest formula for savings, and published tax brackets for salary estimates. We cite authoritative sources (CFPB, Federal Reserve, IRS, and central banks) wherever a rate, bracket, or rule is country-specific. Nothing is computed on a server; everything runs locally in your browser and no input is collected or stored.

Why We Show the Math

Most calculator sites are a black box. We believe a calculator is only trustworthy if you can verify it. That's why every tool page includes the formula, the variables, and a step-by-step example you can reproduce in a spreadsheet. If the numbers don't match, tell us — we'll fix it.

Financial Disclaimer

FinCalc is provided for education and estimation only. Results are not financial advice, loan offers, investment recommendations, or tax guidance. Actual loan terms, interest rates, tax liabilities, and exchange rates vary by lender, jurisdiction, and market conditions. Always verify with a qualified financial, tax, or legal professional before making a decision.
